Cypriot cycling celebrated a landmark international success this week, as national champion Andreas Miltiadis claimed victory in Stage 3 of the prestigious Tour of Hainan in China.
Competing in one of the most demanding races on the UCI international calendar, Miltiadis delivered an outstanding performance against a highly competitive field of top-level riders. His win demonstrated his strength, quality and racing maturity, lifting Cypriot cycling to a new level on the international scene.
The achievement drew praise from the Cyprus Cycling Federation, which described the victory as fully deserved and the product of hard work, persistence and dedication. The Federation said the result confirms the athlete’s steady progress at international level and provides inspiration for the next generation of cyclists in Cyprus.
Congratulatory messages also came from the Cyprus Sports Organization and the Cyprus Olympic Committee, which praised Miltiadis, his coach and the national federation for their contribution to the success.
