More illegal migrants repatriated from Cyprus

It's the 11th joint repatriation flight organized in collaboration with the Cyprus police and Frontex

In a joint operation coordinated by the European agency FRONTEX, 14 third-country nationals who were residing unlawfully in Cyprus were repatriated to their respective countries today. The repatriation flight was conducted by Greek authorities under the supervision of the European Union's border protection agency, FRONTEX, in collaboration with the Cyprus Police.

This marks the 11th joint repatriation flight carried out by FRONTEX in Cyprus in 2023. With this operation, the total number of third-country nationals who were returned to their home countries from Cyprus reached 107.

It's worth noting that, from the beginning of 2023 until today, a total of 7,791 individuals who were residing unlawfully in Cyprus have been deported or repatriated to their countries of origin, as stated in the announcement.
