A nurse working at a health center in the free province of Famagusta has been arrested in connection with an alleged indecent assault on a male patient, authorities said.
Police confirmed that the incident came to light following a complaint made by the patient. After receiving the report, officers moved quickly to arrest the nurse on Monday.
The suspect was brought before the Famagusta District Court, which issued a detention order as the investigation continues.
