Palestinian Foreign Minister to visit Cyprus for key diplomatic talks

A closer look at the outcomes anticipated from the visit

Palestinian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Riad Malki, will pay a working visit to Cyprus on Wednesday at the invitation of Cypriot Minister of Foreign Affairs, Constantinos Kombos.

According to an official press release, in the framework of his visit, he will hold a tete a tete meeting with the Cypriot Foreign Minister followed by extended consultations with the participation of delegations from the two Ministries.

Discussions will focus on the developments in the Middle East, bilateral relations as well as the latest developments in the Cyprus issue.

The two Ministers will then make statements to the press. Kombos will also host a working lunch for his Palestinian counterpart.

During his stay on the island, Malki will also be received by President of the Republic, Nikos Christodoulides.
