Strong winds and heavy showers are expected in Cyprus on Thanksgiving, with a warm front expected Saturday but also cloudy skies staying in the picture through the end of the weekend.

A weak low pressure system is affecting areas over the island, with Thursday skies expected to be partly cloudy or cloudy.

Temperatures will begin to rise gradually through Sunday, when levels will be noticeably above normal averages for this time of the year mainly in the interior and mountains.
