Arsenal's most well-known fan, Robbie Lyle, is scheduled to speak at Digital Agenda Cyprus on the 19th of October 2021.
Robbie is best known for creating the incredibly succesful YouTube Channel called AFTV and various affiliated social media platforms. AFTV is the world's biggest Arsenal football fan channel and has received over 1.18 billion views and 1.39 million subscribers to date on YouTube alone.
Formerly a BBC reggae radio host and surveyor, Robbie Lyle quit his job in 2012 to work in social media full-time.
This year Robbie launched a new social media channel, Don Robbie, across all platforms to reach a wider sporting fan base. To no one's surprise, the channel is doing so well, garnering a half a million followers across all platforms to date.
Robbie has frequently appeared on UK national media platforms such as BBC, ITV and Talksport. In 2018 Robbie produced the fan popular ‘Real Football Fan Show’ for Channel 4, and in March 2020 he hosted and narrated the nominated award ITV documentary entitled “Under Their Skin,” which looked at racism in football.
Robbie has been a pioneer in the football media world - he is one of the most prominent black personalities in UK sports media and is one of the only black personalities to own a successful media company in UK sport.
According statsmash.com, AFTV is worth $1.7million as of January 2021.
