A violent incident broke out in central Nicosia on Tuesday afternoon after two Israeli men were reportedly attacked and injured with a sharp weapon, believed to be a knife.
According to police information, the suspects are men of Syrian origin. Officers launched an immediate operation following the assault and later tracked down and arrested the two individuals believed to be connected to the attack.
