Missing Larnaca teen found

Police find 14-year-old girl in good health after she was reported missing at her school

Police located a teenage girl on Wednesday who was reported missing earlier in the day at her private school in Larnaca.

According to local media, the 14-year-old girl was found near the Phinikoudes seafront area on Wednesday evening, around 7pm.

Media reports said the teen was in good health while no further details were provided regarding the circumstances under which she went missing.

Sources earlier told Knews that a missing complaint had been filed by the school when it emerged that the teen, described as a Vietnamese girl, went missing. Police released a photo of the missing teen in the early afternoon, asking for anyone with information to come forward.

It was not immediately clear whether the school contacted police in the morning or later in the day, but additional reports said her brother had dropped her off at her private school in the morning. He reportedly was told later that his sister never showed up to class.

Story has been updated following news of the teen's whereabouts
