If today’s weather were a person, it would be the one who shows up to the office in socks and sandals. It’s not trying to impress anyone, but it’s harmless enough. We’re still dealing with a weak low-pressure system that’s essentially the meteorological equivalent of a shrug.
This morning has got some increased clouds making an appearance. If you're planning a mountain escape after midday, you might get a damp reminder that the clouds actually live up there. For everyone else, it’s dry and decent.
Winds are coming in from the southwest at a very lazy 3 to 4 Beaufort. The sea is slight, which is basically the Mediterranean’s way of saying it’s too tired to make waves.
The mercury inland is hitting 24°C, the coast is a steady 23°C, and the mountains are chilling at 18°C. It’s the kind of weather where you put a sweater on, take it off, put it on, and then get annoyed at the sun.
Tonight expect a ceiling of medium and high clouds. The sea might get a tiny bit slightly rough, perhaps because it’s annoyed about the upcoming weekend plans.
The weekend: A sandy sandwich
Saturday: The clouds are bringing friends. It’ll be a gray-ish affair with a chance of mountain showers. Oh, and the dust arrives. Because apparently, we haven't had enough minerals in our lungs lately.
Sunday: The atmosphere decides to have a proper tantrum. Expect more clouds, more showers, and a potential thunderstorm to really ruin that Sunday BBQ.
Monday: The cloud hangover continues. Expect a few more stray raindrops to help you ease back into the work week.
The bottom line: Temperatures aren't moving, the dust is coming, and the mountains are going to be soggy. If you have a car wash appointment for tomorrow, cancel it.
