If you’ve been waiting for the weather to stop acting like a moody teenager, today is your lucky day. We are officially under the influence of a high-pressure system that, unlike last month’s cold snap, actually seems to like us.
Today, the sky is ditching the drama and staying mostly clear, letting the sun do some much-needed overtime. The wind is playing a bit of a game, though. It’s coming in from the northeast and east at a polite 3 to 4 Beaufort, but don't be surprised if a few "assertive" gusts of 5 Beaufort try to snatch your hat. Temperatures are behaving themselves, climbing to a pleasant 19°C inland and a very walkable 20°C along the coast. Even the mountains are shaking off the frost, reaching a respectable 9°C. It’s the kind of day that makes you want to "accidentally" take a long lunch break.
The outlook: A dusty guest list
Tonight remains clear and calm, though the sea might stay a little restless with those northeasterly winds continuing their shift. It’s a solid night for a coastal stroll, provided you don't mind the "slightly rough" waves providing a dramatic soundtrack.
Tomorrow (Wednesday), the sun stays out, but it’s bringing a friend. A thin veil of dust is moving into the atmosphere tomorrow. Think of it as nature’s sepia filter. It might make the sunset look great, but it’s less fun for your car’s windshield. We’ll also see some high-altitude clouds drifting through.
The clouds are planning a brief comeback on Thursday and Friday. By midday, they might get bored and drop a few isolated showers, mostly targeting the mountain peaks.
