Turkish 'Master Chef' filmed in Varosha

Contestants prepared meals inspired by Cypriot cuisine

The Turkish reality show MasterChef, which is nearing its conclusion, was filmed in Varosha's enclosed area.

According to TC media, the contestants prepared meals based on Cypriot cuisine in the episode filmed in Varosha. The filming was attended by Ersin Tatar and his wife, Sibel, the "minister of tourism," Fikri Ataoglu, and Turgae Avtzi, the "chairman" of the "council for planning, supervision, accreditation, and coordination of higher education" (YDAK).

Tania Kilitgiali, last year's contestant who hails from the occupied side, was also featured in this episode.
