Two suspects were arrested at Larnaca Airport on Friday night in connection with the attempted murder of a 43-year-old man in Nicosia earlier this week.
Police said the arrests involve a 41-year-old and a 30-year-old, who were taken into custody after arriving in Cyprus.
The case relates to the attempted killing of the 43-year-old on July 29. During the investigation, detectives secured court warrants for both suspects, leading to their arrest shortly after they landed at Larnaca Airport.
The investigation into the attempted murder is continuing.
