Two men, ages 27 and 24, were arrested Sunday in connection with a vehicle arson that occurred last Wednesday in the Agios Dometios area of Nicosia.
Authorities say the fire broke out around 3:15 a.m. on May 28, targeting a car parked outside its owner’s residence. Firefighters quickly extinguished the blaze, and investigators determined the fire was deliberately set.
Following a police investigation, evidence linked the two suspects to the incident. Judicial arrest warrants were issued, leading to their detention for further questioning.
The case remains under investigation by the Nicosia Criminal Investigation Department.
