Police arrested two men in connection with a road incident on the Rizoelia to Kalo Chorio highway that took place on May 6, 2026. Investigators believe the suspects were involved in a crash before leaving the scene.
Authorities identified a 31-year-old man who allegedly rented the vehicle connected to the case, along with a 23-year-old man believed to have been behind the wheel at the time of the incident. Both were taken into custody under court-issued warrants to assist with the investigation.
The suspects are expected to appear in court, where police will request detention orders while inquiries continue.
The investigation is being handled by the Aradippou Police Station.
