Tukolukova's podium success at the 2024 European Cup boosts Cyprus' Olympic aspirations in rhythmic gymnastics

Cypriot athlete Vera Tukolukova has won one silver (ribbon) and two bronze medals (clubs and hoop) at the 2024 European Cup in Rhythmic Gymnastics in Baku.

According to a press release issued by the Cyprus Gymnastics Federation, after an excellent performance, Vera Tukolukova won 5th place in the all-around individual competition and qualified for 3 finals where she managed to get on the podium all 3 times.

With a silver medal in the ribbon and 2 bronze medals in clubs and hoops, the Cypriot athlete creates expectations and hopes for qualifying for the Paris Olympic Games.

Another Cypriot, Nika Khodareva also recorded a very good performance, as she ranked 9th in the final ranking in all-around individual.

In the junior category, Maria Sokolova, Ekaterini Siarova and Sofia Diana Christofi secured 6th place in the team all around.
