Qatar Airways has reclaimed its position as the world's best airline, according to AirlineRatings.com, after briefly slipping to second place in 2023. The rankings, determined by safety and government audits, consider various factors such as product ratings, customer reviews, fleet age, and accident reports. Notably, carriers from the Middle East and the Asia-Pacific region dominate the top spots, with Air France/KLM being the highest-ranking European airline at sixth place.

"Qatar Airways performed exceptionally well across key categories, with minimal deviations in the top ten scores," explained Geoffrey Thomas, AirlineRatings.com's editorial director. Qatar Airways also secured the top spot for the best business class category for the fifth consecutive year. Other notable winners include Singapore Airlines for best first class seat, Air New Zealand for best economy seat, Emirates for best premium economy and in-flight entertainment, and Etihad Airways for best environmental airline for the third consecutive year.
