A popular book bazaar is returning this June, offering thousands of books at low prices while raising money to support stray animals in need.
The event, organized by P.A.W.S. (Protecting Animals Without Shelter) in cooperation with the “Yfantourgeio” Book Club, will take place on Saturday, June 6 from 11:00 to 17:00, and on Sunday, June 7 from 11:00 to 18:00.
Organizers say the bazaar will feature a wide selection of both new and second-hand books, with prices starting as low as €1 to €5. All proceeds will go directly toward covering medical treatment, food, and other essential costs for stray animals cared for by the group.
Visitors will also be able to enjoy coffee or tea while browsing at “Yfantourgeio TheWorkplace,” turning the event into a relaxed weekend stop for book lovers and animal supporters alike.
The organizers are encouraging the public to donate books ahead of the event, with contributions accepted by phone or text at 99769011.
Beyond the books, the bazaar is also expected to bring people together for a good cause: supporting animals without homes while promoting community spirit, reading, and reuse.
