The President of the European Central Bank Christine Lagarde welcomed on Thursday the new Governor of the Central Bank of Cyprus Christodoulos Patsalides to the ECB Governing Council.

“Delighted to welcome a new member to the team this morning as Christodoulos Patsalides takes over as Governor of the Central Bank of Cyprus and becomes a Governing Council member”, said Lagarde in a post on “X”, while welcoming the CBC Governor in Greek
