Four thousand new sunbeds and a thousand beach umbrellas, valued at a total of 670 thousand euros, have been recently set up along the shores of Ayia Napa.

In an official statement from the Ayia Napa Municipality, Mayor Christos Zannettou held a meeting with the beach personnel on the morning of August 9th. The meeting, attended by beach inspector Dimitris Patera, aimed to express Mayor Zannettou's gratitude for the exceptional dedication and remarkable enthusiasm displayed by the staff. Their unwavering commitment ensures the pristine condition of Ayia Napa's beaches and guarantees top-notch service and quality experiences for our visitors.

Mayor Zannettou also highlighted, "The hard work and tangible support from the beach personnel within the Municipal Council have led us to successfully attain our goal of enhancing beach services in recent years. Despite the challenges posed by the pandemic and the resulting financial constraints faced by the Ayia Napa Municipality, we have managed to install four thousand brand-new, comfortable sunbeds, alongside one thousand high-quality beach umbrellas."

Furthermore, Mr. Zannettou emphasized that "The comprehensive budget for acquiring the sunbeds and umbrellas encompasses a total of 670 thousand euros, inclusive of VAT."
