Police are investigating a series of break-ins and attempted break-ins reported at businesses in Aradippou in the early hours of Tuesday.

Officers were alerted at around 3:40am after reports of possible break-ins at a kiosk and a pharmacy in the area. Police found that the kiosk had been entered and that its cash register drawer, containing coins, had been taken. An additional amount of coins was also stolen from the counter.

The pharmacy had also been targeted, but the suspects were unable to get inside.

Police later received a report concerning a shop in the area. An inspection confirmed that the premises had been broken into, although the owners said they did not believe anything had been stolen.

As officers continued checking businesses in the area, they found signs of attempted entry at another pharmacy and another kiosk. Neither attempt was successful, and no property was reported missing from either location.

The Aradippou Police Station is continuing its investigation into the incidents.
