Georgia cruised past host nation Cyprus 93-61 on Tuesday in Group C play at the FIBA EuroBasket 2025 tournament.
The victory evened Georgia’s record at 2-2 and kept its hopes alive for a spot in the knockout round. Cyprus, winless at 0-4, was mathematically eliminated from advancing. The game was played at the Spyros Kyprianou Arena.
Georgia faces Bosnia-Herzegovina on Thursday, a matchup with potential Round of 16 implications.
Earlier in the day, Bosnia-Herzegovina edged Greece 80-77 in the same venue. Greece will next meet defending champion Spain on Thursday night in the final round of group play.
