Fire in fuel vehicle at petrol station

A fire broke out in a double-cab fuel truck parked inside a petrol station in Pegeia on Monday night.

According to Fire Service Spokesman, Andreas Kettis, the fire brigade responded with two vehicles from the Paphos station.

According to him, the vehicle was extensively damaged by the fire, while the fuel pumps were protected. To extinguish the fire, the Fire Service's water facilities were used, as well as dry powder extinguishers were used by employees of the service station.
