A polite little low-pressure system is drifting through today. Don’t worry, it’s the shy type. Most of the time the skies will behave themselves, but by afternoon a few clouds may gather, whispering secrets over the mountains and perhaps spilling a raindrop or two, just to keep the trees on their toes.
Winds will start the day indecisive, twirling about like they can’t pick a dance partner. “Northeast? Southeast? Who knows!” They'll finally settle down somewhere between 3 and 4 Beaufort (that’s meteorologist code for “enough to flip your napkin, but not your picnic table”).
The sea will be calm to slightly annoyed, like a cat you woke from a nap. Temperatures will be comfortable 33°C inland, 30°C along the coasts, and a cool 24°C in the high mountains, perfect for anyone who wants to brag about wearing a sweater in October.
Tonight, the skies will mostly behave, though a few clouds may wander in, pretending they own the place.
And looking ahead to the weekend: sunny, with just enough afternoon mischief in the mountains to keep umbrellas feeling useful. Monday will be clear and simple, as if the weather just gave up arguing.
So, TGIF. Take your sunglasses, maybe pack an umbrella for dramatic effect, and enjoy the kind of day where even the wind can’t decide what it wants to be when it grows up.
