Press Release
The Green Agenda Cyprus Summit, the largest sustainability conference in Cyprus, returns to Nicosia on June 4, 2026 under the theme “Transition as a responsibility (not a trend),” bringing together leading voices from the world of sustainable development and innovation. Among this year’s speakers is Christos D. Katsanos, Agronomist, ESG Ambassador and Brand Strategist.
At the Green Agenda Cyprus Summit, Katsanos will focus on a simple but important question: Is ESG really changing the way businesses operate, or has it become just another marketing buzzword?
In his presentation, titled “ESG as a Real Transformation Initiative (Not a Green-Washing Tool),” he will discuss how companies can move beyond slogans and genuinely integrate environmental and social responsibility into their everyday decision-making.
He will also explore how these issues apply to food and agricultural products, where trust and transparency matter more than ever, explaining why real sustainability must be based on clear actions and measurable results, not just “green” branding on a label.
The Green Agenda Cyprus Summit is presented by Altia.
Major sponsors: Alpha Bank and Eurobank.
Supported by: EY, Invest Cyprus, CYTA, AHK, Cyfield, LLPO, University of Limassol and Sklavenitis.
