Police in Limassol have arrested a 25-year-old woman in connection with a robbery targeting a food delivery driver, as investigations continue into an attack involving multiple suspects.

According to police, the arrest was made Tuesday based on a court warrant and follows a complaint filed by a 24-year-old delivery man.

The incident took place on the evening of January 12, 2026, in the Erimi area of Limassol. The delivery driver told police that as he arrived to deliver a food order, a person signaled him to stop. Moments later, the individual pushed him and took cash from him.

Police said four other people then approached the driver, grabbed the food order, and fled the scene together with the first suspect, heading in an unknown direction.

The delivery man was not seriously injured, but the incident has raised concerns over the safety of delivery workers, who are increasingly targeted while on the job.

The Episkopi Police Station is continuing its investigation as authorities work to identify and locate the remaining suspects.
