Limassol General Hospital is undergoing significant modernization to enhance patient care and service efficiency, according to the State Health Services Organization (OKYPY).

The upgrades include a 550m² expansion of the Accident & Emergency Department, aimed at reducing waiting times and improving emergency care. A new Day Care Unit with 18 beds will allow for efficient daytime treatment without inpatient admission.

Additionally, the Dialysis Unit is expanding to 34 stations, increasing capacity for faster and more effective treatment, while also supporting medical tourism. A new Intensive Care Unit will be established on the first floor, directly connected to the Surgical Department, ensuring safe and immediate patient transfers.

Renovations in auxiliary areas are also improving hospital efficiency and staff productivity.
