The Larnaca District Court on Saturday ordered the suspect held in custody for three days to assist with the investigation, according to Larnaca police spokesperson Christodoulos Konsolos.

Police said the theft occurred on May 21 in Larnaca. The items reported stolen included €1,400 in cash, a check, several bank cards, personal documents, and a pair of high-value sunglasses.

The man, a permanent resident of Larnaca, was arrested around 8 p.m. on May 30 by members of the Larnaca Criminal Investigation Department.

The case remains under investigation by Larnaca CID.
