Newsroom
The skies are mostly clear today, probably trying to look innocent after letting Monday sneak up on us. A weak high-pressure system is hanging around, pretending it has everything under control, while a shy low-pressure system is already texting “on my way” for tomorrow, possibly bringing some light dust to match our collective enthusiasm.
Today:
Expect sunshine with clouds showing up occasionally, like coworkers who forgot it’s still early. Winds will flex from southwest to northwest, getting feisty at 4 to 6 Beaufort. The sea’s feeling fidgety; slight in the east, a bit more lively elsewhere. Temperatures are stretching up to around 28°C inland, peaking at 31°C on the east coast, and staying a cool 22°C in the higher mountains (perfect for anyone considering running away there).
Tonight:
Mostly clear, but with some clouds loitering around the mid- and high levels, gossiping about tomorrow’s weather. Winds ease up a bit, and the sea settles, as if realizing it’s Monday night and it should probably calm down.
Tuesday:
Expect some clouds playing mix-and-match, with a chance of an afternoon shower or two, mostly in the south, where weather likes to keep things interesting.
Wednesday:
Sun’s back, but clouds are plotting a comeback later in the day. A few isolated showers may appear, mainly in mountainous and inland areas.
Thursday:
Partly cloudy with a small chance of light showers, the weather equivalent of an email marked “just following up.”
Temperature trend:
A gentle rise through Wednesday, then a small drop Thursday. Basically, the week’s emotions in Celsius.
