It’s Tuesday, and with it comes a moody sky and the first signs of an unsettled stretch ahead. A weak low-pressure system is currently influencing the region, setting the stage for a change in the weather over the coming days.
Today will be mostly clear overall, but don't be surprised by pockets of denser cloud cover drifting in now and then. Dust in the air will linger temporarily before beginning to clear. Winds will range from light to moderate, blowing from the southwest to northwest at 3 to 4 Beaufort, but may strengthen to 4 to 5 Beaufort along coastal areas. The sea will remain slight to moderate in most areas.
Temperatures are expected to peak at 32°C inland, around 27°C along the coasts, and a cooler 23°C in the mountainous regions.
Tonight, conditions will stay largely clear, though low clouds may increase in some areas. Keep an eye out for early morning fog or mist, especially in inland valleys. Winds will shift northwesterly to northeasterly, generally light at 3 Beaufort, occasionally nudging up to 4 Beaufort near the coast. The sea will remain slight to locally moderate. Overnight lows will dip to around 18°C inland and along the coasts, and down to 12°C in the mountains.
Looking ahead to midweek, Wednesday through Friday, expect intervals of increased cloud cover. Isolated showers are likely around midday and early afternoon, with the chance of thunderstorms creeping in on Thursday and Friday, especially over mountainous and inland areas.
Temperatures will hold steady through the week, remaining close to seasonal norms.
