Today’s weather is serving up sunshine with a side of warmth, as inland temperatures climb to a toasty 32°C. A weak high-pressure system is keeping things calm and mostly clear, making this the perfect day to forget about those dishes (just for now) and soak up the early summer feel.
Winds will start off indecisive, variable and light at about 3 Beaufort, but will gradually settle into a light to moderate breeze from the southwest to northwest (3–4 Beaufort). Seas will stay mostly well-behaved, only slightly rough.
Along the coast, it’s cooler but still beach-friendly: 26°C on the western side, around 28°C elsewhere. Up in the mountains, a fresh 25°C should keep things crisp.
Tonight, skies stay clear as the winds shift slightly, turning northwesterly to northeasterly at a gentle 3 Beaufort, sometimes reaching 4. The sea will be calm to just a little choppy. Expect temperatures to drop to 15°C inland, around 18°C along the coast, and down to 13°C in the highlands.
Looking ahead to Thursday through Saturday? It’s more of the same, mostly clear skies and a slow but steady temperature rise through Friday. Saturday holds steady, with highs continuing to hover well above seasonal averages.
Bottom line: Spring is overachieving. Summer is sneaking in early. And yes, the dishes can probably wait.
