Here's what you need to know

Shemaine Bushnell Kyriakides

Technology has always had a big impact on our lives.  It is the driving force behind modernization and efficiency.  Nowhere has it been the most prevalent than during the pandemic, which has brought about a rise in digital transformation on issues related to technology, health, environment, the media, sports and politics.  But what can we expect now?

Digital Agenda Cyprus aims to answer just that, as well as provide a meeting place where experts can share their knowledge and experiences, while highlighting the pros and cons of the digital age, post pandemic.

For the next two days, beginning tomorrow, you will hear from speakers from all over the world who will discuss issues such as the digitization of states, consumer change, the future of work, dramatic changes in the media, and how science and medicine were used to control the pandemic.  It will also explore the world's shift to solar energy, the ambitious efforts of the human race to move into space and virtual diplomacy, as well as the role of women in today's high-tech world.

The Summit will begin tomorrow the 19th of October and runs till the 20th of October at the Nicosia Municipal Theater.  Click this link to see a list of speakers and topics.
