The Forestry Department is informing the public that from Monday, November 29, until Friday, December 17, 2021, Christmas trees will be sold to the public in various sales centers.

The sales centers of the trees are at Athalassa Forest Station 22403749, Larnaca Forest Station 24818108, Dekelia Forest Station 24723432, Fasouri Forest Station 25952120, Limassol Forest Station 25872306, Giafos Station 26, Dasiko Station 26 Platanion Station 22608512.

The sale of Christmas trees from the sales centers will be done only during working days and hours (Monday - Friday 08:00 -15: 00).

But don't worry, the trees come from forest plantations that are regularly 'thinned out' in order to improve growing conditions through pruning.

The Forestry Department reminds the public that logging, possession and transportation of Christmas trees without a permit is an offense punishable by a fine of up to € 5,000 or imprisonment for up to one year or both, according to the 2012 Forest Legislation.
