Police are investigating two separate explosions in Paphos that took place early in the morning around the same time.
According to a police report, a car bomb went off in Paphos Friday early morning around 3am, causing extensive damages to the vehicle.
Media reports said the car belonged to a 31-year-old female, while a more detailed assessment of the damages was expected later in the morning.
Police stopped short of saying whether the two explosions were suspected to be linked
A few minutes later, another bomb went off in the front yard of a residence also in Paphos distrcit, according to the same incident report.
But police stopped short of saying whether the two explosions were suspected or known to be linked, adding that the incidents took place in different areas.
The targeted residence belonged to a 28-year-old male, police said, adding that there were extensive damages in the exterior of the home.
