An investigation is underway in Limassol following the discovery of a military rifle, drugs, and fireworks in an open area, according to a statement from the Cyprus Police.

Authorities from the Anti-Narcotics Unit (YKAN) conducted searches of both an open area and a nearby building, where they uncovered the weapons and illegal substances.

Photos released by the police show a Vz 58 rifle alongside 9mm ammunition, though initial assessments suggest the ammunition may not be compatible with the weapon.

Three individuals have been arrested in connection with the find: a 24-year-old man, a 36-year-old man, and a 48-year-old woman. The investigation is ongoing.
