Cyprus took part in the 11th "China International Fair for Trade in Services" (CIFTIS) in Beijing to promote the country as a top destination for business and investment, according to the Ministry of Energy, Commerce, and Industry.
Working with the Cyprus Trade Centre in Beijing, the ministry set up an information booth at the event, which was held from September 12 to 16. Many business representatives stopped by the Cyprus booth to learn more about the country’s advantages as an international business hub, especially in areas like company registration, technology, IT, and education.
Petros Petrou, Cyprus’ Commercial Counselor in Beijing, also gave interviews and spoke at two conferences during the event, helping to promote Cyprus as a great place for investment and business services.
CIFTIS is one of Asia’s largest exhibitions focused on the services industry, attracting 342,000 visitors this year, with participants from 85 countries and international organizations. The annual event has been running since 2012.
