Four new types of branches at the Bank of Cyprus

BOC modernizes facilities to improve customer experience

Bank of Cyprus branches are entering a new era, with the bank having moved to modernise the operational model of its network with four types of branches.

1. Branch
- Providing the full range of the Bank's cash, general customer service and financing services.
- These branches are located in central locations in urban centres and rural areas to provide comprehensive customer service.

2. Lending Unit

- Provide financing services such as: loans, credit cards, opening and managing accounts, servicing facility requests, updating customers, etc. No cash transaction services are offered.
- The aim is to specialize in providing loans to individuals and small and medium-sized enterprises, to provide faster service and to approach customers individually according to their needs.

3. Transactions Branch

- Provision of services related exclusively to cash transactions (deposits, withdrawals, transfers, foreign exchange, etc.), opening/managing accounts-cards (without limit) and information on offered products and services.
- These branches have increased staff at the teller desks to provide faster service to customers on cash transactions and direct service on day-to-day banking operations.

4. Digital stores & ATMs

- Self-service customer service with ATMs and/or Deposit Machines.
- Aim to process banking transactions through digital machines available 7 days a week, until 10pm, easily and simply.

The bank emphasized that the locations of Bank of Cyprus branches have been decided based on the most efficient customer service. "The Lending Units and Transactions Branches are located within close proximity for even better service," it commented.

New banking experience with state-of-the-art branches

At the same time, four branches in central locations across cities have been completely renovated, combining modern design, comfort and advanced technology for even better service. They provide:

- New, bright and modern spaces that make the visit more enjoyable
- Autonomous service points for easy and fast transactions 7 days a week, until 10 pm, bringing to 18 the number of points operating with an autonomous service system
- Meet & Greet reception with qualified staff for any questions
- Private meeting rooms for even better personal service

Theodosis Theodosiou, Director of Retail Banking Division, Bank of Cyprus, said, "We attach great importance to the quality and speed of our customer service. Through the modernization of our network's operating model, we aim to provide an overall enhanced customer experience with direct and targeted solutions according to our customers' needs, more service channels as well as more flexibility and specialization."

Nicosia: 39 Archiepiskopou Makarios, Nicosia.
Limassol: 121-123 Archiepiskopou Makarios
Larnaca: Konstantinos Palaeologou & Tinou Corner
Paphos: Corner of Evagoras Pallikaridis & Tselepou
