Hello islanders! Get ready for a weather rollercoaster today. Clouds are making a grand entrance in the east, bringing along some spontaneous showers and a hint of thunder, especially up northeast.
As the day unfolds, rain is set to visit the mountains and southern shores, eventually making its way to the western coastal areas by late afternoon. Winds are keeping it easy, mostly northwest to northeast at 3 to 4 on the Beaufort scale.
Keep an eye out for a bit more gusto in the southeast and northwest coastal spots, hitting 4 to 5 Beaufort. Seas will gradually get a bit restless. Temperature-wise, we're looking at a comfortable 19 degrees Celsius inland and along the coasts, and a brisk 8 degrees Celsius in the higher mountains.
Tonight, it's going to be a mixed bag. Clouds will be playing hide-and-seek, treating us to scattered showers or even a thunderstorm, especially hitting up the western and northern coasts. Winds will keep it breezy from the northwest, around 3 to 4 on the Beaufort scale.
Seas will be showing off some wavy moves. Thermometer-wise, be prepared for a drop to around 8 degrees Celsius inland and up north, about 10 degrees on the other coasts, and a chilly 1 degree Celsius up in the mountains, where frost might make an appearance.
Looking ahead to Wednesday, more clouds might decide to join the party, sprinkling a few showers here and there, starting in the north and making their way to the mountains, inland, and southeast.
Thursday promises scattered showers or a thunderstorm, with the rain likely to continue into Friday night.
Temperatures will take a bit of a dip until Friday, playing it cool just below the usual numbers. Keep your eyes on the sky, and we'll keep you posted on this island weather adventure!
