Good morning. As we move through Holy Week and approach Easter, the weather remains calm and steady — a fitting backdrop for reflection and quiet moments.
Today, on Good Wednesday, skies will be mostly clear across the island. Winds will start off light and variable, gradually shifting to a southwest to northwest direction, remaining weak to moderate at 3 to 4 Beaufort. The sea will be generally calm to slightly rough, with a brief increase in wave activity expected in the southwest during the afternoon.
Temperatures will be mild and comfortable:
• Around 27°C inland
• 25°C on the south and east coasts
• 23°C along the west and north
• And a cooler 15°C in the higher mountains
Tonight, the weather will stay mostly clear. Winds will ease to light levels, and the sea will remain calm to slightly rough. Overnight temperatures will drop to around 12°C inland and along the coasts, and down to 6°C in the mountains.
Looking ahead to Holy Thursday, as well as Good Friday and Holy Saturday, the weather is expected to stay mainly clear. Some light dust may be present in the atmosphere, but nothing too disruptive.
Temperatures will continue to rise gradually and will remain noticeably above the average for this time of year.
