Limassol police have arrested two individuals following reports of attacks against women in the district.
The suspects are both of Syrian origin, authorities said.
The incidents
Police in Germasogeia had previously recorded three cases involving assault, indecent acts, and attempted indecent acts. The incidents are believed to have taken place between October 16 and 19.
According to reports, unknown individuals approached women walking in the area and harassed them, attempting to touch or embrace them without consent.
In one case shared on social media, a woman was attacked by two people. One reportedly pushed her, while the other tried to cover her mouth with a scarf. The woman fought back and managed to escape, with the suspects fleeing the scene.
