A little low-pressure visitor is swirling around the Black Sea and sending us some moody skies today. But don’t worry, it’s just passing through.
Today will be a mix of sunshine and curious clouds playing tag across the sky. You might catch a few shy raindrops or even a playful thunderclap, mostly in the west and north before the rest of the island joins in. The rainclouds won’t stay for long, though. They’ll wander off soon enough.
The winds are feeling lively. They’ll start out as gentle southwesterly breezes, then pick up a bit of energy, becoming rather spirited and occasionally quite gusty, especially in some coastal spots. The sea will respond in kind, choppy in the west and southwest, and a bit wavy elsewhere. Temperatures will dance around 24°C inland, 27°C along the southeastern shores, 25°C on the rest of the coasts, and a brisk 12°C up in the mountains.
Tonight, the stars will peek through mostly clear skies, though a few fluffy clouds may linger over the western half of the island. Winds will calm their enthusiasm and settle into a soft, steady rhythm. The sea will also mellow out, staying just a little restless in the west and north. Expect nighttime temperatures around 14°C inland, 17°C by the sea, and 9°C high up in the cool mountain air.
Friday will bring a few extra clouds drifting by to keep things interesting.
Saturday and Sunday promise mostly sunny, cheerful skies, sprinkled with just a few wandering clouds.
Temperatures will tiptoe upward through Saturday, then hold steady on Sunday, staying just a touch cooler than what’s typical for this time of year.
Grab your favorite sweater, breathe in that fresh autumn breeze, and let the skies surprise you!
