Vaccination centers for babies and infants, from 6 months to 4 years of age, will be operational from Tuesday, November 22, the Ministry of Health has said.

In a press release on Thursday, the Ministry said that the centers would be set up following a Cabinet decision on November 15 to protect the population and particularly vulnerable groups of people from the coronavirus.

It is recommended that children and infants receive the Comirnaty (Pfizer) vaccine for the initial strain of the virus, the Ministry added.

Interested parties should book appointments by telephone at the Latsia Health Centre, Limassol Old Hospital, Kyperounda vaccination center, Larnaka Old Hospital, the Famagusta Heath Centre, Pafos General Hospital and Polis Chrysochous Hospital.
