President of the Republic of Cyprus Nikos Christodoulides departs for Lebanon on Monday for meetings with the country's leadership on the increased flow of irregular Syrian migrants from the country to Cyprus.
A Presidency press release said President Christodoulides will be received by Lebanese PM Najib Mikati.
After an official welcoming ceremony, the President will have a tete-a-tete meeting with Mikati followed by expanded talks between the delegations of the two countries.
He will also have a meeting with the country's Speaker Nabih Berri.
President Christodoulides will be accompanied by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Interior Minister, the Government Spokesman, the commander of the National Guard and other officials. He returns home this afternoon.
