Today, we're in for a pleasant day with mostly clear skies after any early morning fog or mist clears up. You'll see a mix of high and some local low clouds drifting through the sky. Winds will be light to moderate, coming from the northeast to southeast at 3 to 4 Beaufort, and the sea will remain calm, though a little rough in some spots, especially along the north and south coasts. Temperatures will reach around 18°C inland, 21°C along the coast, and 12°C up in the higher mountains.
Tonight, expect a mostly clear sky, with more clouds rolling in, especially along the coast. There could be some mist or fog forming in places as well. Winds will shift to the northwest to northeast, with light winds around 3 Beaufort. The sea will stay calm to slightly rough, with a bit more chop in the south. Temperatures will drop to around 6°C inland, 10°C along the coast, and around 3°C in the higher mountains, where frost could form in some areas.
Looking ahead to Friday, we'll see a clear start to the day, but clouds will gradually build, and by midday, there’s a chance for a few isolated showers. Expect more of the same on Saturday, with clouds and scattered showers, and possibly a thunderstorm or two later in the day.
Sunday will bring partly cloudy skies, with more cloud cover at times. There’s also a chance of isolated showers and possibly a few thunderstorms, mainly in the mountains and western areas during the afternoon.
Temperatures will stay pretty steady, continuing slightly above the usual for this time of year. The snow depth on the highest peaks of Troodos is currently at 17 cm.
