The individual reportedly saw the drone flying in the area Tuesday afternoon around 5pm and notified police.
An official report said the device started descending and landed very close by, with the citizen calling the police after spotting a suspicious package attached to the drone.
Members of the bomb and drug squads inspected the package and determined it contained about 60 grams of dry cannabis.
