Cyprus President, Nikos Christodoulides, is to address the United Nations General Assembly in New York on September 25, CNA has learnt.
According to sources from the Presidential Palace, the President of the Republic is expected to depart for New York on September 21 to attend the United Nations General Assembly, on the sidelines of which he will meet with the UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, on the 23rd of September.
President Christodoulides is to deliver his speech at the General Assembly on the morning of September 25 (New York time), while he will return to Cyprus on September 29.
Asked about other meetings the President will hold while in New York, the same sources said they would be announced later.
