The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow warning for isolated heavy storms which are expected to affect mainly the mountainous and inland areas and the north, and will be valid from noon until 1800 this evening.
It said that during storm, hail is also likely while the precipitation rate is expected to range between 35-55 millimeters per hour.
