SPP Media Group has signed a records management agreement with Kaniklides company in order to put together a plan that fully complies with the law on General Data Protection Regulation.
The media group called in the experts to help put together a plan which will allow the organisation to properly manage archives while complying with the latest requirement on data protection and privacy for all individuals within the European Union.
Kaniklides’ Secure Document & Records Management Services, which is certified by the International Organization for Standardization and the Cyprus Fire Services Department, is the only firm on the island that has seven different international standard certifications.
It is known for having state-of-the-art facilities and complying with European Regulations and Strict Fire Safely Regulations, as well as fully complying with the EU General Data Protection Regulation Privacy Compliance law 2016/679.
SPP Media, which took the decision early on to put in place a robust records management plan, chose Kaniklides for the company’s strict adherence to policy regulations and practices that ensure a proper operation for both physical and electronic archives.
Kaniklides also pays particular attention to training staff on account and data handling as well as formulating company policy and practices that ensure full compliance by the organisation.
Upon completion of the programme, SPP Media Group will check all the boxes on EU 2016/679.
