Today's forecast calls for mostly clear skies across much of the island, though residents in northeastern areas may see patches of increased cloud cover, with a chance of isolated showers. In the afternoon, cloud development is expected to bring isolated rain and thunderstorms, mainly affecting the mountainous regions, inland areas, and eastern parts of the country.
Winds will primarily blow from the northeast to southeast, later shifting to variable directions, ranging from weak to moderate at 3 to 4 Beaufort. Seas are expected to be slightly rough. Daytime temperatures are forecast to reach around 24 degrees Celsius in the interior and coastal areas, with a high of about 14 degrees in the mountains.
By evening, winds will shift to a northwesterly to northeasterly flow, easing to between 2 and 3 Beaufort. Temperatures will dip to about 12 degrees in the interior, 14 degrees along the coast, and a chilly 7 degrees in the higher mountains.
Looking ahead, isolated rain is expected Tuesday in the mountainous regions during midday. Wednesday could bring brief cloud cover in the mountains, while Thursday’s outlook remains mostly clear. Temperatures are forecast to stay steady, aligning with seasonal averages.
