Press Release
The Green Agenda Cyprus Summit, the island’s largest sustainability conference, returns to Nicosia on June 4, 2026, under the central theme “Transition as a responsibility (not a trend),” bringing together leading voices from the fields of sustainability and innovation. Among this year’s speakers is Bora Markovic, a photographer, videographer and influencer.
In a world that moves too fast to notice the details, Bora Markovic has made it his mission to slow things down and capture the hidden beauty of Cyprus. In his talk at the Green Agenda Cyprus Summit, titled “Rediscovering the Soul of Cyprus,” he will share how a simple passion for photography evolved into a deeper journey of rediscovering the island through its landscapes, light, and lesser-known corners.
Through striking visuals that often make even locals stop and ask, “Is this really Cyprus?”, his work reveals a side of the island that many overlook, one filled with raw natural beauty, emotion, and quiet wonder. His presentation is expected to serve as both a visual experience and a personal reminder of why protecting Cyprus’ natural environment matters, not only for sustainability goals but also for the very identity and spirit of the island itself.
The Green Agenda Cyprus Summit is presented by Altia.
