According to Michael Nicolaou, the Paphos CID Head and spokesperson for the Paphos Police Department, a 30-year-old woman reported the incident at Stubios police station on Sunday at 19:30.

Following extensive examinations, the Paphos Police have gathered testimonies implicating a 56-year-old man responsible for setting up the illicit wire trap, which ultimately led to the tragic demise of the woman's wandering dog.
